This program is for you if:
You recently experienced burnout and have had to leave your job.
You’re trying to figure out your next move.
You’re not back to 100%, but you’ve got a few ideas and started to get some energy back
You don’t want to go back to the same situation you were in; you want to make sure you don’t experience burnout again
This program is NOT for you if:
You’re currently at breaking point (if that’s the case, I recommend you go visit your GP or a counsellor as soon as possible. You can always come back once you’ve recharged your batteries).
You don’t feel you have the energy to put in some work.
You want someone to just tell you what to do.
What the Program covers
Rediscover your innate strengths
When we’re in burnout mode, it’s easier to focus on everything that’s going wrong and all the mistakes we’re making. Even in recovery, shifting this focus can be challenging. So we turn inwards to help you remember what you’re great at.
Rebuild your confidence
Burnout puts a serious dent in your confidence, which can permeate not only your career but also other aspects of your life. Through powerful exercises, we’ll get you back to feeling like you can do anything.
Reestablish purpose and direction
You’ve stepped away from the job that caused your burnout, and you’ve spent time resting. But what’s next? We dive into your values and what you really want out of life and your career, so you can decide where you want to go.
Foster a stronger mindset
Mindset is a powerful tool to help you move forward with your life post-burnout. You’ll recognise blockers that are currently holding you back and develop strategies to combat them and foster resilience — a skill that will help you throughout the rest of your life.
Develop your next goal and steps to get there
Maybe you want to look for a new job. Maybe you want to start your own business. Maybe you want to take off on a round-the-world adventure for a year. Whatever it is, you’ll, set a powerful goal and develop tangible action steps to get there.
About your facilitator
I’m Riss, the Build Back from Burnout Program facilitator, and a trained coach with ICF-certified training provider Thought Coach. To explain why I run this program, we need to go back in time a little bit …
It’s 2023, and I don’t care about my job.
On the surface, it looks like I’m crushing it (several people tell me this).
But on the inside? I feel irritable, I want to snap constantly and I dread getting out of bed in the morning.
My confidence is at an all-time low.
I feel like crying every time someone speaks to me (and sometimes I do). It feels like a constant battle to get through the working day.
One day, at an after-work networking event in the middle of a room filled with people, I have the worst panic attack I’ve ever experienced in my life. My hands and legs are shaking uncontrollably, I can’t stand up, and I feel like I’m about to pass out.
The next morning, I know that something needs to change.
I hit a breaking point where it was too late — I ended up needing to leave the job and industry I loved to recover, and it was a long road.
When I look back, there were so many signs: an insane amount of sick days, poor sleep, utter exhaustion, apathy about things I once had so much energy for, worsening relationships, physical issues and so much more.
The signs were all there, I just chose to ignore them. And, to be honest, I wouldn’t really have known what to do about them anyway.
When I started to get my energy back, I had no idea what to do. But I found connection and inspiration through community, and found my way forward (starting my own business) as I was going through my coaching training.
I created this program to help people like you who have found themselves on the other side of burnout.
It’s not something everyone understands, but the people who’ve been there really get it.

This program is for people who want to build back from burnout alongside a small group of others. The reason it’s a group program is because connection and community are so crucial when you’re rebuilding after burnout. These will be people who may have a different background or be at a different stage of their career, but inherently have been through exactly what you have. You’ll support one another, which reinforces the idea you’re not alone in this, and you’ll come away with a support network of people who get it that you can stay in touch with long after the program ends – if you want to. It’s all about connecting you with a close-knit community of others going through the same thing.

There is a maximum of 5 participants in the Build Back from Burnout Program, and a minimum of 3.

The Build Back from Burnout Program is currently in Beta (testing) mode. Feedback from Beta participants will determine how frequently the Program will be delivered. The first full Program will launch in the first half of 2025, with subsequent Programs planned for the second half of 2025.
